OK, where do I start....
The phone cliams to have a standby battary life of over 2 weeks. Ha!. With one or two short calls a day, expect 3 days of battery time.
"Advanced" Voice recognition on the phone is terrible. I mean terrible ... as in not usable.
The two reasons I bought this phone (voice recognition and battery life) turned out to be vastly overstated by Verizon.
Oh yeah, I called verizon and asked how I could move over my phone numbers from my old phone ( a motorola T720), and they said it couldn't be done. So the phone has all these PIM features that you can't sync with your PC. Duh.
The product development team at verizon should be ashamed of this product. The only thing that Verizon has going for it, is its coverage. I can't wait until there are viable alternatives.
On the plus side, the phone fits in my front pocket...

This is a fine phone if you use it as a stand-alone cell phone, and don't need to sync with your PC or send email. If you want to stay connected to your email and/or your PC calendar and/or PC addresses, look for something else.
*Has T9 word for text messaging, but not for email. In fact, T9 word for email is not available on ANY Verizon cell phones.
*Email makes you open the message up in order to delete it, which makes getting rid of spam a message by message endeavour.
*Currently no software I can find to sync with outlook via cable. You must pay a monthly fee and place your private information on a third party server.
*Also does not do POP3 automated email pick-up.
*No drivers/software provided by either Samsung or Verizon to download photos and sounds between the phone and PC.
The above features have been standard on cell phones for years, so these limitations are pointless and cheap, and make this phone useless if you want to use your cell phone for more than simple phoning and text messaging.
On the plus side, I loved the camera features, and it fits in my front pocket...
One last comment: the nickel-and-diming of Verizon for what should be standard services is not acceptable. They have lost me as a wireless customer.
