I purchased this phone for business purposes. It has Windows on it which is great. It includes Office mobile with Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer, Word and a few other programs. Outlook syncs with my computer which makes keeping track of emails much easier. It also includes Mobile WIndows Media Player, and can accept a SD card of 2GB or higher (Haven't tried higher than 2Gb). It's Bluetooth capable, and has a faster processor than computers that are more than about 2 years old.

The only complaint I have at all, is the life of the battery. It comes with a large and small battery, but their life is nowhere near as long as it needs to be. Another problem with the battery running out is that if it goes completely dead for too long, the memory of the phone gets completely erased, and you loose everything on the phone. I cant figure out why they wouldn't store user info in flash or another perminant memory so it cant get deleted so easily. Obviously, this is made to be more of a PDA than a phone, but the battery is definitely a concern.

Otherwise, the phone is solid, and very reliable. It has a bright screen that only has problems in the brightest sunlight. The keypad is small, so if you have large fingers it may be an issue, but it hasn't been a problem for me.

I'm sad to see that darmerlin had such a bad time with the phone. I have had it for over a week now and can say that it is definitely the best on the market so far...

I use the phone as both a business and personal device. It took a little longer than I expected to get the initial activesync working, but since then, everything has been great. I haven't had to reset the device once (unless prompted to during software load). I use it for phone, e-mail, calendar, contacts, movies, music, games, and more. The best part is that, even though Acura doesn't officially support it, I can use the bluetooth capabilities for HandsFreeLink in my TL. I haven't had any problems with that. It doesn't display battery or signal levels, but I don't really care.

I think most of the issues that previous poster had are all controlled by configuration. I have the backlight settings and display set to turn off after a few minutes of inactivity.

I would say that the only thing I don't like about the phone so far is the battery life. As stated by most, it is fairly limited. It doesn't really bother me too much, however. It's not like I'm hiking through the wild for days without somewhere to plug it. Samsung provides the standard and extended battery, so the likelyhood that I'll be away from a plug or my laptop long enough to drain both is pretty slim.

I would definitely highly recommend this phone to others.
