Like the guy below me said, I use a phone for a phone. I had a choice between this phone and the Nokia 6085. I am glad I went with this phone. It is small yet not loseable and has many of the features I wanted in a camera.
A few clarifiations from what this site says.
1. Ringtones, yes, you can use MP3 ringtones on this phone. They work great. Use a 64kbs sample rate to save space if you can. They are customizeable to each caller and with the cable item below, you can put whatever you want for a ringtone.
2. PC synch, Yep, it works. $20 cable from best buy is all you need. You can download the software from the Internet, PC Studio 3.2 is what worked for me.
3. Camera, not the best by any means, but then again I really didn't want it in the first place. You can use the external display as a crude viewfinder if need be.
4. Memory, there is no expansion slot, so if you make ur own ringtones keep them small. You get about 3,000 kb of total memory, use it wisely. I have about 15 ringtones ive made myself, and still not even close to filling up the internal memory
5. Voice Commands and Themes, the site says this phone doesn't have themes, it does. The site says this phone has voice commands, if thats is true, I haven't found them yet.
Overall this is a great phone. With the addition of the data cable at best buy, this more than makes up for the lack of FTP bluetooth ability. Anyone looking for a basic phone with the ability to transfer files, this is the phone for you

I use a cell phone as a cell phone, do not go for the bells and whistles. When I upgraded from my old Nokia to the Samsung, I was sold on its small package and features, even though you have to go through tons of menus to switch it from melody to vibrate or even to power it down. After a week of pluging and unpluging my charger in and using my Samsung approved cabled handsfree, the pins in the data port have bent and now the data port is unusable for any purpose. ATT, my service provider said they have never seen this happen before, so they replaced the phone. now after another week's worth of use, again the data port pins have bent. I thought maybe it was how i was plugging into the data port, but not on two different phones. no monkey fisting here, I never had this problem with my old Nokia. Now no data port access, no hands free and have no way to get it resolved. I do not see me even purchasing a samsung product that has new style data ports / connections. This is an engineering / design defect that Samsung should take responsiblity for.
