PROS:
good call quality
loud speakerphone
good earpiece volume
one of the better 65K screens
battery life is long
bluetooth
mobile email already on phone
good signal
solid feel with keys
voicedial is very accurate and very convenient
you can make calls and answer the phone without opening the flip...cool!
video mode is not bad for a phone...better than D807 for some reason
CONS:
volume of ringer is VERY low
external display doesn't look good, but does job I suppose
side keys are too easily pressed when in pocket or when grabbing phone
camera pictures are "fuzzy" and lighting has to be perfect
OVERALL:
I think the PROS outweigh the CONS for an overall review. Sure, there are things that we would all change (as we would on any phone that ever comes out) but fact is it gets good signal, has plenty of features and options, and operates as a phone first (which is the whole point). I would recommend this phone to anyone even if you don't use the PTT feature if you can get over the CONS that I listed.

Another feature not needed by everyone, but important to a special group of users, is that it is definitely hearing-aid compatible. My daughter who wears a hearing-aid tried a variety of cell phones when we went to upgrade our contract and the Samsung 407 turned out to be outstanding for her needs. I agree about some of the other cons... particularly hitting the side keys by mistake... but have found the pros outweigh them for using this primarily as a phone.
