I am not sure what everyone is so displeased with about this phone. I recently got one for free when signing up for service with t-mobile and after having the moterola v300 (a $300 phone!) this seems like it's heaven sent. It is easy to operate and the operation of it makes sense for once! It has useful tools on it that I have never seen on a phone before, such as a timer, stop watch and currency converter. It has more customizable features, such as brightness settings for the screen. but beyond all that, I am remarkably impressed with it's performance. I get service everywhere! Even in classrooms at my college. I never used to get service in those rooms with my v300 or with my boyfriends verizon phone. even if I just have one bar of service everything is still just as clear as it was when I had full bars. the reception is better than any phone I have ever had. everything sounds clearer. no it doens't have a lot to choose from in the ring tone department, but after having the complicated v300, I don't mind the cute sounds that come with it. I actually really like them. haha. the camera is crappy, but I have yet to see a great picture from a phone--buy a camera if you want to take really good pictures! haha. All in all, I am very pleased with this phone.

I have had to return 2 of these phones. With each one the same problem arises - I'll use it for a couple of weeks but then certain programs make the phone crash and restart. The IM program for aim is an example - it worked fine for the first few weeks with each phone then suddenly I can't access it or logoff of it. The phone will start to load the IM program. then just freeze up so I can't close out of it, and then restarts itself. Also, periodically the phone would turn itself off by itself without anything touching it. Finally, I got a replacement of a different model from t-mobile (Motorola V360) - and I'm certainly glad I did.

I've had this phone for awhile and it is by far the worst phone I've ever had.
On the AIM ,Yahoo, & ICQ programs it constantly freezes causing you to restart the phone but pulling the battery. Also the reception is horrid!!! I can be with someone who has 5 bars and I'll have 1 or 2... 3 if lucky.
Plus, the ringtones are crap even the ones you buy, and overall t-mobile has a horrible choice of ringtones for all phones Hifi or not.
There is no silent mode on the camera either which i HATE! So no sneaking around in school or at work.
Over all I found very few positives about this phone other then good... Very good speaker phone
that's about it
I know 2 other people with this phone and another thing is the screen always has this like giant spot in it that wont go away kinda of looks like as if you where pushing down on a flat computer screen, and even shows up in the pictures when you upload them & regardless the camera is horrible too.
this phone is bad, Really bad I hate it. it has a very limited space of memory so you cant download many things or take and save lots of pictures.

What ever you do, do not buy this phone. . I have been with T-Mobile for 2 years. It gets terrible reception. I was in my house with my cousin Samsung e315 and my Samsung e335 both samsungs hers with an antenna and she got 5 bars will I had 2. The e335 is the most boring phone ever. Crappy ringtones. Terrible camera.
PROS
- Its Blue
- It has ICQ, YAHOO, AND AOL MESSENGER
CONS
- Crappy reception
- Crappy ringtones that you have to pay $1.99 for Real Music Ringtones also known as HiFi Ringers for T-Mobile. The ringtones don't even last more than about 7 seconds let alone the fact that they are not clear.
- Bad Camera, No Video Playback or Video Capture
- No flash
