Review of Samsung SGH-ZX20. Meh, 2 out of 5

Reviewer: six03e on Thu Jan 11, 2007

well, i'd give this phone a 2 out of 5.

PRO's:
Nice Screen
Memory Card Slot
Rotatable Camera
very pretty and fast GUI

CONs:
Many ascii characters unavailable when texting
Predictive text entry is cumbersome; much better on Motorola
MP3 player features are bare bones. Cannot receive text messages or send text messages while MP3 player is on
Playlists are cumbersome to make
Songs added to playlists are not added in order
MP3 player doesn't remember which song you were on when you exited it last
Frequently have to restart the phone to gain access to internet

In summary, a good phone for a beginner, but power-users will be very unsatisfied by this phone. This phone has excellent hardware, but the software (GUI, etc) written for it is so mediocre and amateurish that the phone just becomes average. It seems that an intern or entry-level programmer designed the GUI
