Good, but not worth the price (unless its FREE)

Some thoughts about this phone...
First off I've had this phone for Sprint for just about 8 months now. I've had several other phones (Moto i90c, Panasonic Tx210, Old Nokia 51xx) and this one was far superior as far as features go (obviously).
Pros:
1. Nice Clamshell Design: This phone is not at all "flimsy" and has a superior design to many other flip phones.
2. Reception, Reception, Reception: All of Sprint's phones by SANYO have superior reception to any other cell phone I've used (my bro has a 4900 that gets service in areas we thought were "dead" to all cell service)
3. Color Screen: Larger than the screen on the 8100, but not quite as bright. Still very pretty tho.
4. Camera, w/ Flash: This phone takes the best pictures out of all the camera phones I've tested. Flash setting is key to this. Given, the pics are not print quality, but Web/e-mail quality for sure (400x600 @ 72dpi)
5. Memory: The phone can store multiple pics (10+ at high-res), plus a ton of ringers, and a few games, w/o getting overloaded.
6. Battery life: Battery life is very good. I was surprised given the phone's huge screen and memory. The phone comes with a slim and an extended life battery. Since I got the phone, I have yet to even need the extended life battery, and I am not that great about charging the phone when I should, or even charging it correctly.
Cons:
1. Sprint: Sprint service in Boston is not the best. Adequate at most. Their Vision (Web) service is pretty slow and times out A LOT, making it near to impossible to send and receive pics most of the time. This can be a HUGE problem b/c the whole point of having a camera phone is so you can send and receive pictures! I think in this case, the technology available on the Sprint handsets has far exceeded the capabilities of their network. They have a new Sanyo phone that can take and send video, although I doubt that the Sprint network will be able to transfer video if they can't even send digital still images.
2. Crappy accessories: The accessories available for this phone are sub-par. If you're looking for cool accessories, I'd suggest a Sony or Moto phone. The belt clip for this phone never held the phone in place, it always popped out, and the car charger was TERRIBLE. You had to wiggle it over and over to get the phone to recognize it.
3. Size: The phone is a bit big compared to the newer camera phones, although I have yet to see a newer one with the same memory or with as good a camera.
That said, after having this phone, and realizing that I never used the camera or wireless web, I decided to switch service providers and get a small, reliable phone with bluetooth, so I could go truly wireless. I opted for the Sony Ericsson T616 b/c I like the small design and I am a sucker for a nice color screen. I'll probably never use the camera, but the phone seems simple to use so far. I'll post a review for that one later on...
Hope this info helps!
