As it is said in test: great phone, exept screen! About design I would't agree, because I find it great, much better than Nokia!! But about tastes to discuss doesn't make any logic at all!
I have it couple days and it is phenomenal how much possibilities it gives for personalization and play!! And how many sites with new material exists!! To have popular phone is verry important too!!
Conclusion:
Great phone + camera and serial cable for under 300€ (at this moment even 260€) = phenomenal value!!

I have tested three different Siemens (50s series) phones in the last three days, including their latest offering with the hidden keyboard that operates on a slide. While they have some nice features, they are not intuitive in their logic of operation. The speaker requires waiting for the dialed number to ring before you can activate the speaker, and then it requires two steps. On answering, you have to answer, press the speaker button, then confirm your choice. So much for the safety factor of driving and using a speaker phone.
Training the phone for voice dial was difficult and limited to 20 numbers. This is not a phone for someone who use it while driving.
Finally, the microphone quality on all three models was horrible. Everyone I called complained that it sounded like I was standing in a shower while talking to them.
I returned each phone after one day of use, and kept stepping up each day. The irony was the newest and most expensive (SL-55) was the hardest to work with, and the one that had the least clarity.
