The Sony Ericsson C901a GreenHeart is a eco-friendly phone made from a minimum of 50 percent recycled plastics and includes an optimised display light sensor that uses less energy. The handset is colored with waterborne paint that lowers exposure to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). It comes with the MH300 GreenHeart headset, made up of 100 percent recycled plastics. Additional green features include an e-manual that reduces paper usage by over 90 percent, smaller packaging that decreases transport related CO2 emissions by over 80 percent, recycled plastics and a low-power charger. A WalkMate application lets users count the steps they take with the equivalent journey traveled by car.
