When i got this phone, i was amazed at it's outlook and it seemed to have more feature than my old Ericsson phone i used to use. But after 1 month of using it, i was utterly dissappointed. The most impacting is that this phone has to be locked at all times, cause if on one day i forget, the internet button gets so easily depressed on my pocket while walking. The next bill that came, i had to pay an extra $75 just for mobile data that i incurred. And the worse thing is, i didn't even use the internet. It's because of that bad design problem of a protruding internet button. So, when i think of how cheap i paid for the phone, and i add that $75 into it, i have just got ripped off. It's unfair for Ericsson to design a protruding internet button and cause people to make mistakes by not locking the phone, and then charge them for that mistake, when their bad design is the actual fault.
Besides this feature, picture taking was purely lousy. I disagree with the previous reviewer who said there is no need to take pictures at all. I mean, if you don't want to take pictures, it's fine. But if there is to be a photo taking feature in this phone, then i am expecting at least reasonable quality that is viewable, not one that makes everyone look like 'monsters' when i take pictures. The pictures are so unviewable that i cannot even see what i have just taken.
In my old Ericsson phone, i had a simple function to do voice recording, to create my own ringtone and record whatever sound i speak or play to it. In this new phone, i expected it to have as well, since it has so many latest features. I was digging high and low on the phone, but i simply could not find that function. That to me is a very important feature, as i use that to record ideas that came into my head while busy walking or doing things, and not having the time to see down and type things, or even musical ideas. I can't believe Sony Ericsson totally took that feature off. I feel the designers in the company simply never really use the phone when they designed it, how could they missed out such a feature.
I am already looking to find a new phone after 2 months of using!
