SE k700 also known as K700i - indian sub continent, K700c - china, K700h - HK is nothin different then K700. The phone is a big boom in SE sales as the phone is a best buy at the quoted price. SE released couple of colour phone models like t68's n i's but the k700 brings the most out of it.
Camera
The camera feature is a good, though might be decieving for some as the company claims camera to be a 4X zoom. It only works in small image size and medium image size; same goes for video. Though its amazing 41mb(only for k700i, 32mb in k700) can store video of upto 30mins approx. The flash/light is quite alot useful if you are a night - out animal, helps you bring light to those special moments.
Overall rating for the camera - 4 on 5.
Radio
SE provided Radio with the handset so you no need to bother what will you do with the cam phone if you arent wanting to use it.
Media Playback
It can virtually playback any type of sound file, have tried mp3, midi, amr, mpeg4, couple of more. With some converting tools one can imagine to play anything on the set and as we all know SE never compromised in sound quality.
SE gave you DJmix/DJ keymaker for creating your own poly tunes that simply rocks.
Messaging
Messaging is quite alot good. SE even gave you the option of MY FRIENDS to join wireless village - virtual chatters, can keep up with status etc. Though its a network dependent utility.
BlueTooth / IrDA
The connectivity is simply amazing. SE as usual gave option of hiding your BT device keeping it safe from bluejacking and snarfing. You can control your POWERPOINT presentation, desktop/remote device like TV (just for image tranfer).
Design & Interface
Its a good change in SE base.
Support
SE is having trouble keeping the phone rocking for you at times. It hangs at times. Mine got the bug and needed to get the soft update. SE is not providing much of the application to your needs so need to be on a look for good PIM and phonebooks (personally, i felt the PIM was missing something spcly those bday and anniv reminders; phonebook is same old crap not giving you much space to hold multiple numbers)
Overall
The phone is a best buy in the range. Have bought n7610 as well but couldnt make much use of it. Firstly, it just gives you the 1mega pixel camera, SE gave you extended view but not 1MEGAPIXEL CAMERA. It records on you 41mb mem bt nokia gave option of 10mins recording. Flash was missing whcih handicaps you in nights. Carrying a 1MEGA PIXEL camera that is too bulky is not my choice, prefer getting a digicam instead.
Overall SE wont let you get bored anyhow using k700i but nokia will surely do it!!
Actually, k700 came with 32MB mem and k700i/k700c (typically, the versions in india, china, HK) comes with 41MB mem. Worry not coz 99% of the handsets across the globe are having 41mb mem. Buy k700i or c for that matters. If you can understand chinese buy that one coz the manual is in chinese. However, k700i have no problems.
Transfer of the bluetooth is far more good than you can imagine. Till now this is the first cellphone i have come across with such tremendous bluetooth speeds and reliability. You just setup the bluetooth on the pc/laptop and here you go JUST DRAG AND DROP or use bundled softs.
lastly, you cant use the bluetooth if your compu is not having bluetooth. This is because it needs a receiver and a transmitter for the communication like two BT or IrDa PHONES. Alternatively, you can use the IrDA if the computer is havin IrDA port.
- Or -
You can get the bluetooth dongle - class II or class I from any computer vendor. That should solve the issues.

wow......i bought the K700 a couple of weeks back and its simply the best. Initially I planned to go 4 the K500/508i but was discouraged by the low memory on that model (only 12 mb ) and instead decided to shell out the extra bucks for the bigger bro and believe me........every extra penny i paid was worth it.
From the Moto-Razr like brushed aluminium finish, the much superior screen and the sexy twin-tone keypad to the excellent headphoneas and superb connectivity, everything is very likeable.
I have heard some ppl complain about 41MB not being sufficient to carry mp3s buy hey!!.....just use soundforge to compress ur mp3s to something about 800kb to 1.2 mb and u can carry as many as 25 mp3 songs, still leaving 10MB free for other stuff. And the sound quality does suffers a wee bit though it's not that noticeable.
There many more such unnoticeable tit-bit but magnificient features that i liked, for example the picture editor, the bluetooth remote control etc.
MY OPINION: THE BEST BUY FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY THE S700i.....BY THE WAY, I AM STILL DREAMING.......

+ big build-in memory
+ huge, clear 65k TFT-screen (176*220)
+ many camera-effects (including Panorama)
+ "headlamp" for the camera
+ small size
+ links of the directory buttons are free configurable.
+ protective cap for charger and headset connector
+ Radio
+ it's easy to record calls with the build-in recorder
+ intelligent files receiving (the phone asks you if you want to receive and saves the file in the correct folder)
- memory not expandable
- the worst picture quality I've ever seen on a phone (preview is great, but the taken picture is horrible)
- message tones not freely configurable (8 pre-defined settings including "off")
- the left and the right button under the screen are not configurable
- no datacable included for uploading mp3s
- you can only send one picture at a time via IrDA/Bluetooth (and not many in a row)
- very simple video player (no fullscreen, no pause, no fastforward/rewind)
"Review" based on Sony Ericsson K700i sold by o2 Germany

I have been at my wits end with vodafone over this K700 and MP3 issue. I rejected my phone within the 14 day period, yet they never returned my calls, so by the time I finally got an answer that nothing could be done two weeks had passed. I tried to return my phone but they refused to take it back in the store.
Not wanting to jump straight into legal action just yet, I called up Vodafone Business Services this morning to complain, and they say the Vodafone and MP3 issue has been fixed. So why not tell me this yesterday, durr brains? They are going to send me a new phone next week to swap with my old one. I suggest everybody in the world who has a vodafone K700i phone on vodafone call up voda customer services and do this, now!!
