The Xperia X10 Mini is a compact versions of Xperia X10, Sony Ericsson's first Google Android phone to combine a new UX platform to customize the home screen's four corners and add widgets to quickly access favorite apps. It integrates Timescape -- an app that brings text messages, missed calls, and Facebook and Twitter updates to one place so users won't have to open lots of different programs. The music player also uses the 'infinite button' to grab music content from online stores and YouTube -- so users can search for new tracks from a favorite artist.
|
- Runs on Google's Android platform for access to Google Search, Google Voice Search, Google Talk, Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps and Android Market
- Integrated 5.0-megapixel camera, music player and stereo FM radio
- Wi-Fi and HSDPA support for broadband-like speed to download large files and email attachments in seconds
- Automatic email setup for quick and easy synchronisation with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
- Built-in aGPS for location-based services to help find the way or add location info to images using the geo-tagging function
- Timescape brings communication together in one place -- Facebook, Twitter, text messages, missed calls - all gathered, so users won't have have to open different apps to see what's going on
