I had this phone about 1 year now and I think it's the best phone I ever got. I had many t-mobile phones like RAZRs and SIDEKICKs and they don't compare to this phone.
Pros:
-Very clear and bright screen
-turning off/on button is seperate from the END button
-internet looks better than other phones because you can change it if want to see it in one column or how it would show on a computer
-Very good battery life
-adding new softwares from third party websites is a plus
-voice quality is okay
-wi-fi is okay but it should be a little faster
-easy to text, but am one of those people who like texting with a phone that has a keyboard.
-bluetooth is easier to use than other phones I had in the past and it works perfectly with my bluetooth headset thing.
-easy to navigate because it is sort of like a mini computer
-windows media player is loud and great
-gets better reception than other phones, for example, I also have the SIDEKICK 3 and my brother has the RAZR and those two phones gets no service at my mom's house and with the SDA I get at least 2 bars.
-windows media music buttons are okay because sometimes I don't like using the little joystick thing.
Cons:
-mini SD slot is under the battery, I don't like it because I like to switch memory cards a lot.
-when playing a video on windows media player the quality is very small
-i don't know if its just my phone but the IM is always messing up like when I sign in it shows that I'm not signed in and other people says I am signed on
-the size of the phone is okay for what it does, but I would like it to be thinner like the SLVR
-volume buttons on the side is useless
-doesn't have tzone so I can't download ringtones, but its okay because I make my own ringtones that doesn't sound like I made it myself and it's crystal clear sound. Sometimes I just don't want to make ringtones, it would've been better if I can download some already made ringtones.
-the data plan is a lot. I use the internet once and it's not fast enough but it's great if you are near a t-mobile hot spot area
-without the data plan you are limited on what you can do on the phone, but for me its okay I just want to use it as a phone, not all those internet and multimedia stuff
-recording videos is okay for just jokes
-camera is okay but I don't use that much just get digital camera
-when the phone turns on, it takes awhile, but its okay because my phone is always on anyways
-when you have too many programs on at the same time it slows down the phone, so somtimes I have to take out the battery if the task manger doesn't work.
I am still learning new and different things about this phone and it doesn't make me bored. I'm always doing something on this phone.
