Designed by HTC and released for T-Mobile, the Wing brings a new keyboard design, longer battery life, a 2.0-megapixel camera, speakerphone, and Bluetooth connectivity for reliable handsfree use. The messaging options and full QWERTY slider keyboard provide quick and convenient access to personal and professional email, and all four major instant messaging providers - AOL, Yahoo!, Windows Live Messenger and ICQ - while the high-quality screen provides a rich experience for Web browsing or watching video clips in landscape format. Powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6, the Wing offers faster access to contacts, the ability to view and edit Microsoft Office documents. Windows Mobile 6 supports HTML email with live links to Web sites, support for images, tables and bullets. The Outlook Mobile software offers email, calendar and contact information.

T-Mobile USA today announced it added 951,000 net new customers compared to 857,000 in the third quarter of 2007 and 901,000 in the fourth quarter of 2006. Net new contract customer additions amounted to 733,000 in the fourth quarter of 2007, or 77% of total net new customer additions, compared to 557,000 or 65% in the third quarter of 2007 and 783,000 or 87% in the fourth quarter of 2006. Contract churn was 1.8% in the fourth quarter of 2007, down from 2.0% in the third quarter of 2007 and 2.1% in the fourth quarter of 2006.
