All the phones have a navigation controls, but the Snap and Ozone have a standard directional keypad, while the Dash 3G uses a trackball.

The Snap has an Inner Circle feature -- a feature that lets users to select a list of contacts whose emails should float to the top in the inbox. The Dash 3G has T-Mobile's myFaves service -- letting users pick five contacts that they can call for free anytime.

The Ozone doesn't have a system for prioritizing contacts or free calling, but it does have Wi-Fi, unlike the Snap, and it can connect to a computer modem to use its Internet service, unlike both the Snap and the Dash 3G.

It has a sleek, compact design, allows users to read PDF and Microsoft Office files, connects to the Internet in numerous ways, lets users trim MP3 files and can remotely sync to PCs.

Design

The HTC Snap, Dash 3G and Ozone all have a similar look and size -- mostly black, a large 2.4-inch screen and QWERTY keyboard, with navigation controls between the two.

HTC Ozone FrontThe Ozone measures 114 mm long, 64 mm wide and 13 mm thick and weighs just 105 grams, making it the lightest of the three HTC models.

Its beveled keys are raised, but there is no room to either side -- making typing more prone to errors. Above is a horizontal bar with call start, home, return, two soft keys, navigation keys and call end keys.

The Ozone has a USB jack on the bottom, a 2.0-megapixel camera lens is on the back and volume keys on the left side.

The shell is soft to the touch and has an incognito look that makes the screen's images shine. But its keypad leaves little room between keys, which leaves a lot of room for mistakes, and the navigation keys are not as slick as the trackball available on the Dash 3G.

Out of the box the HTC Ozone comes with a Li-Ion battery, mini-USB cable, AC charger, multifunction audio cable, international adaptor clips, VZAccess Manager CD, Getting Started CD, SIM card, a quick reference guide, global support kit and read first poster.
