Connectivity
Aimed
at the user who is looking for a basic phone, the LG CG225 does not include
Bluetooth functionality. With little space for file transfers anyway, the
biggest loss to CG225 users is the use of a wireless headset.
An optional accessory data cable can be used for transferring ringtones
or backgrounds to the phone but space for them is limited.
With the value-driven consumer in mind with the CG225, its lack of Bluetooth
connectivity may not be a major loss for many users, however buyers looking
for a phone with the latest in connectivity will want to look elsewhere.
Conclusion
Designed with the value-driven consumer in mind, the CG225 is a basic
mid-range phone that offers an attractive design, quad-band connectivity,
messaging capability, long battery life and a VGA camera at an affordable
price.
While its strengths lie in its essential functionality, the CG225 lacks
the multimedia capabilities of many mid-range phones. Undersized displays,
a slow GPRS connection, and a lack of memory space limit its use for multimedia.
The CG225 falls short on connectivity features.
Regardless, the consumers interested in the CG225 are likely those who
place communication in the forefront, caring more about call clarity, battery
life, and usability than MP3s, megapixel cameras, and Bluetooth technology.
With a far simpler interface and clean design, the CG225's features provide
customers with an affordable and stylish phone, to keep in touch with family
and friends.
