Internet
Launched in July last year, Sprint Power Vision is the central online
network to connect to Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store, Sprint Game Lobby, and
Sprint On Demand, all powered by its broadband EV-DO (Evolution-Data
Optimized) network.
Through EV-DO, consumers can stream, download, and browse the web up
to 10 times faster than the conventional 2G networks. Offering greater speeds
than even Cingular and T-Mobile's EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution)
3G networks, Sprint customers can access data at average download speeds
of 400-700 kbps and peak rates of up to 2 Mbps. Aggressively expanding its
nationwide network, EV-DO currently reaches about 150 million customers
in over 220 major markets.
Storage
With 23.5 MB of internal memory, the Fusic has plenty of storage for
photos, ringtones, games, and videos. For more memory-intensive features,
such as loading MP3s, the Fusic also includes an expansion card slot.

Capable of accepting microSD cards, a 64.0 MB card with SD adaptor comes
included in the box, storing around 15-20 songs (average MP3s range from
3-4 MB in size). Additional cards up to 2 GB in size can be purchased separately.
Connectivity
Through the included USB cable, users can activate the USB Flash Drive
option, making the Fusic look like an external drive from a PC. Offering
conveniently drag and drop function to and from a PC, users can offload
photos taken with the camera or store music on memory cards.
But the Fusic also comes with Bluetooth wireless technology. Not only
letting consumers transfer multimedia, synchronize files and contacts, and
use it as a modem when paired with a PC, the Fusic is also one of the first
devices to integrate the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) Bluetooth
profile.
Giving music listeners the freedom to enjoy wireless stereo streaming,
A2DP lets users walk around without the constraints of wires. To use A2DP,
consumers must purchase an A2DP-compatiable Bluetooth headset and load MP3s
through the microSD card. Songs purchased from the Sprint Music Store do
not have the option to use A2DP. Bluetooth has a range of 10 meter (30 feet).
