Get It Now allows you to do more than just talk on your phone. It is
a technology and service that allows you to download and use applications
on your phone. With Get It Now, it is quick and easy to personalize your
phone to your lifestyle and tastes. Just download the applications of software
available. from ring tones to games, and productivity tools. You can be
assured that you can find something entertaining. Plus there are consistently
new applications being created for your use.
You can download applications and use Get It Now anywhere on the Verizon
Wireless network. getIM, getEMAIL and getBROWSING are $4.99 monthly access,
plus airtime. Download charges for getTONES, getGAMES, getGOING, getPIX
and getFLIX vary by application and airtime charges apply when browsing,
downloading and using certain applications.
Most applications do not use a network connection while in use. While
downloading an application, any incoming calls will automatically be sent
to your voicemail.

The VX6000 comes with some handy applications. The Calendar with Scheduler
allows you to store appointments and tasks much as a standard organizer
works.
With the Voice Memo, you can record short messages to remind yourself
of tasks to do. One cool note: It's possible to record your own voice, music
form a CD, or any other input source and use it as your ring tone. All you
have to do is send the recorded voice file as a picture message to yourself
and save it on the phone.
My Shortcut lets you set your own custom shortcuts for easy access. Other
applications like the Notepad, Calculator and World Clock are self explanatory
and straightforward.
