Connectivity
With Bluetooth, consumers can link without cables to headsets, car handsfree
equipment, computers, printers, PDAs, digital cameras, and more. Conventional
Bluetooth has a range limited to only 10 meters, however with the RAZR V3's
Class 1 long-range Bluetooth; users can connect peripheral devices at up to a
range of 100 meters. Now users can have free reign by using wireless headsets to
talk while moving from room to room. And Bluetooth adaptors can be attached to
PCs without needing to bring their phones close by.
Multimedia
can be transferred, and contacts and organizers synchronized, through Bluetooth
or Mini-USB cable from a PC. While photos, videos, and backups can be uploaded
by those same means.
The RAZR V3 supports all the latest PAN (Personal Area Network) and OTA
(Over-The-Air) technologies for quick synchronization including SyncML,
a common language for synchronizing all devices and applications over any
network. With SyncML any personal information, such as email, organizers,
contact information, and other relevant data, will be consistent, accessible,
and up-to-date, no matter where the information is stored or changed.
Conclusion
The
Motorola RAZR V3 is truly a sight to behold. No other device in the present
or past quite compares. From the high-grade materials, to the high-tech
engineering marvels, the RAZR V3 is unsurpassed. While manufacturers nowadays
save costs by using less than stellar plastic resources, the V3 is a welcome
change.
Obviously, the main draw is the design and build of the V3. Its slim
and sleek look adds a stylish touch and mystique. And for many who desire
a phone that will draw envious glares and turn heads, this is the one.
The V3 is not merely an empty shell either. With productive and entertaining
features such as a built-in camera, long-range Bluetooth, MP3 ringtones,
J2ME applications and games, and brilliant internal and external displays,
the RAZR V3 is as functional as it is beautiful.

However, much of the OS is unchanged from the previous Motorola models.
And with Symbian, Smartphones, and PDAs, the menu may be outdated for a
phone with such high expectations.
Regardless, the primary draw is its unique appearance, and the few drawbacks
will not discourage the fashion phone consumers. The Motorola RAZR V3 will
undoubtedly be a juggernaut only limited by price. And although that
has yet to be confirmed, it will surely be hefty. Currently the RAZR V3
is expected to be released early Q4 2004.
