Video content purchases are charged to the customer's account and priced according to the size of the files downloaded. If they're planning to download regularly, they can always request the MEdia Net plan for unlimited use for $19.99 a month.

MEdia Net focuses on giving content subscribers what they want right at their fingertips. Users can customize their homepage with on-demand, streaming content in categories including news, weather and entertainment. For an additional $4.99, subscribers can access premium content channels like HBO Mobile and Music Choice.

The RAZR2 V9 comes with seven game demos: Bowling3D, Diner Dash, Jewel Quest, Lumines, Midnight Pool, Mini Golf Las Vegas and Scrabble Blast. Other applications which may require additional subscription fees include XM Radio Mobile, MobiTV, My-Cast 5 Weather forecast, AT&T MusicID, MySpace Mobile and Billboard Mobile.

Motorola RAZR2 V9 BackExpanded versions are available for purchase. The phone also comes with a number of wallpaper, menu themes, background colors and alert sounds to choose from. New ringtones, games, graphics and applications can be added through AT&T's MEdia Mall.

Internet

Mobile broadband downloads are faster than ever on the RAZR2 V9 thanks to 3G-HSDPA (3rd Generation - High-Speed Downlink Packet Access). Considerably faster than 2.5G EDGE (Enhanced Data for GSM Evolution) and 2G GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) technology, customers can transfer files at blazing speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps; necessary for streaming video, songs, radio feeds and other downloads. Compared to other carrier's technologies, HSDPA is the fastest, over competing EV-DO 3G networks from Verizon and Sprint.

The RAZR2 V9 supports all the broadband multimedia features available from AT&T. Those features can be accessed quickly using the web-browser dedicated buttons to the left and right sides of the phone's center navigation key.
