Restore Factory Settings

This is where much of the multimedia features are changed. Set wallpapers as the background by downloading them through WAP, or transferring it from a PC. The 3200 supports a 4096 color 128 x 128 px wallpaper and screen saver size standard among Series 40 phones.

Polyphonic ring tones can be designated here also. The 3200 can play up to 16 simultaneous chords. Currently, high end phones can play MP3s, WAVs, or up to 40 simultaneous chords. However, these phones cost upwards of $400. and more. For the price conscious consumer, 16 is quite good for realistic sounding ring tones. With simultaneous tones, the more the number of chords, the lesser improvement heard. Therefore, there is a large difference in tones quality when listening to a 4 and 16 chord phones. But between 16 and 24, the difference is not as noticeable.

Customize ringing options and tones for different situations you might find yourself in. Whether it be a meeting, the movie theater, or outdoors, you can easily change back and forth. Save profiles of your ringtones, alerts, and the usual customizable settings for those routine situations. This option is pretty self explanatory, however one great feature is the timed profile ability. You can tell the phone to stay on a certain profile until a specified time. When the set time is reached it changes back to the profile you had before.

Other settings included in here are commonplace. Adjust phone settings regarding time, date, calling, accessory, and security options. Everything here controls the look, feel, and operation of the 3200.
