The Service Menu lets users to choose how you want to connect to the internet. Options include setting up GPRS or GSM accounts. After the browser is setup, they can surf the web and download multimedia, links, or bookmarks directly to the phone.

The 3200 uses WAP browser version 2.0 with xHTML support. xHTML allows browsers to render pages optimized for cellular phones. That means that developers can write one set of code for each web page instead of writing one for a cellular phone, one for a PDA, one for desktops, etc.

With xHTML, data rates become an issue. Luckily, the Nokia 3200 comes with some serious browsing speed. As mentioned earlier, EDGE allows for more than double existing GPRS rates. Although speeds are limited to 118 kbps and actual rates will be less, it's nonetheless miles faster than the standard CSD.
