Nokia 6133 Review - Connectivity / Conclusion

Connectivity

Nokia 6133 AngleThe Nokia 6133 adequately meets connectivity demands featuring options for USB port, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, Server Sync, PC synchronization, and VPN.

USB and Bluetooth are the two most important connections the Nokia 6133 makes, but the phone does not come packaged with any connection tools, such as a USB cable. Unfortunately consumers must spend extra money for connection accessories.

As a popular and well established standard, Bluetooth technology allows consumers connection to a wireless headset, handsfree car-kit, or laptop computer within a 10 meter radius. While the phone is not fully connection friendly out of the box, it still allows consumers ample choice for connectivity.

Conclusion

The Nokia 6133 is an impressive phone in regards to graphics and media applications. The clamshell design is always a pleaser for consumers not wanting to accidentally dial numbers, or scratch their screens. The phone works spectacularly as a PDA and organizer and can certainly help its users stay on top of things.

The dual screens on the Nokia 6133 are impressive with the 16.7 million-color high resolution capabilities, making the viewing of media and game playing an ultimate experience.

The drawbacks to the 6133 phone do pile up. Its design is not well thought out, with the microSD slot under the backplate and the camera and power switch on the side most hit while talking on the phone, too often resulting in a gallery of messed up photos or a call lost.

The clamshell design is a good step forward with the flip top button, but the hinges are flimsy and the result is not as sophisticated as a consumer would want. The battery is also not as impressive as Nokia's usually deliver. While the graphics and media applications are a welcome step up, they drain the smaller battery too quickly. Overall, the Nokia 6133 does cover the basic needs of a good portable device and organizer.
