The Settings Menu is where most of the customization is handled. Wallpaper, screen savers, and color schemes are among the multimedia features of the 6800. You can still make your own content, and transfer them to your phone through the infrared port.

The Nokia 6800 comes with the familiar 128 x 128 px 4096 colors you find on most Nokia phones nowadays. The colors are nice, but are quite commonplace now. With newer phones already at 65,000 colors, the 6800 sits firmly in the middle of the color phone market.

As far as polyphonic ring tones, the 6800 comes with the same 4 instrument polyphonic ringer. More and more phones are moving towards better sounding ring tones with support for 16, 24, or even 40 polyphonic sounds (Instruments/channels at any one time). The 6800's lack of simultaneous instruments is evident when compared to other better sounding phones.

After all that's said, we aren't that surprised the 6800 doesn't have strong multimedia features. The 6800 built for more functionality than customizability.
