Entertainment
The Propel Pro is geared for business, not pleasure, but there are still
some options for entertainment. Music is available for download in the AT&T
Music application and AT&T Mall offers games, applications, wallpapers,
ringtones, graphics, and multimedia downloads for purchase. AT&T Music also
offers music videos and streaming media access.

Videos can be found in AT&T Mall and in CV. CV offers streaming video
clips about a range of topics, including, weather, sports, news, and more.
Information about the same topics can be found in text form on the MEdia
Net home page.
The Pro comes with eight games -- Asphalt 4, Block Breaker Deluxe 2,
Brain Challenge 2, Bubble Breaker, Jewel Quest II, Scrabble, Solitaire and
Tetris.
Although the Pro offers access to games, videos, songs and other entertainment
options, it offers few entertainment downloading applications. Many smartphones,
and in fact most other phones, have a handful of programs to download each
of these features, while the Pro has about one or two each.
It has a full cache of entertainment options, from video to games to
music. But entertainment is obviously not the central feature of this phone.
The Pro carries a minimal amount of ways to download entertainment and offers
little beyond the basics for a smartphone. Still, picture and sound mostly
work well with what features are available.
Internet
Powered by a 528 MHz processor and stocked with Windows Mobile Web 6.1,
the Pro offers the latest in Internet access and plenty of ways to browse
the Web or email.
Internet speeds soar on the 3.5G network connection and flies with tri-band
UMTS/HDSPA speeds. Users can opt for Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) to connect to hotspots
and can save money.
Internet
access and features are the bread and butter of the Pro. Users can access
personal and professional email accounts quickly by setting up one of those
accounts to pop up automatically on XpressMail.
Xpress Mail offers access to Yahoo! Mail, Comcast, Earth Link and many
other email providers and features automatic push email and full attachment
support, as well as the ability to read, delete, reply to and forward messages.
Owners can browse the Web using Internet Explorer -- a huge bonus, as
other smartphones require browsers not found on computers and require new
email setup that may not be phone specific.
Users can surf the Web on the browser or find quick information from
the Internet on a range of topics through the MEdia Net application. Video
clips from the same categories, from sports scores to today's news and weather,
are available on the CV application.
Web and email information and images are aided by the Pro's many built-in
applications.
Adobe Flash Lite helps viewers see Flash videos, Mobile Banking allows
them to balance their accounts and pay bills from their phone, Java aids
downloading, and there's even an application that instantly connects users
to eBay.
WikiMobile offers instant access to Wikipedia.org resources, MyCast Weather
gives a weather report, and MobiTV provides cell phone videos.
Users can also manage tasks; receive feeds on financial and other news
from CBS, the BBC, the New York Times and others; and view PDF files and
read, send and edit documents from a range of Microsoft Office programs
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote) on Office Mobile.
The Pro has everything a person needs to stay connected -- an Internet
browser that's familiar and easy to use and a bevy of applications designed
to get information to a person faster.
If the Pro is lacking in any area, it's in design -- the browser and
email menus are rather bland. That allows more room to see words, however,
which is a major asset considering long menus, messages, and documents can
be hard to read on a screen.
