Storage
The Pro comes with 128MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM for flash memory and has
a microSD slot (sold separately) that can handle up to 8GB cards.
Users that make an investment in memory cards can turn the smartphone
is a powerhouse of storage -- which can be helpful for anyone looking to
store pictures, videos, songs, applications, games or documents
Still, 128MB of memory is a lot even for a smartphone, and the Pro needs
that kind of memory to store all the options it has, especially in the applications
and Internet resources department.
The Pro comes with an impressive amount of memory and offers plenty of
options for adding onto that memory storage if needed.
Connectivity
The Pro can connect to a Bluetooth headset or ear piece, can charge using
power from a car, electrical outlet or a computer, and can synchronize files
with a computer through a USB connection.
The handset has Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology for headsets, handsfree
devices, A2DP stereo music streaming, remote control functionality, object
push for file transfers and a variety of other profiles.
It does not connect to any headset or ear piece that is not from the
Bluetooth line and does not have a place to plug in Bluetooth speakers,
so anyone wanting to listen to music more loudly or in privacy on a personal
set of ear buds is out of luck.
The Pro has great computer access and supports most Bluetooth profiles,
but has limited access to Bluetooth accessories. It also leaves music lovers
with fewer listening options than desired.
Conclusion
The Propel Pro comes with everything an avid Internet user needs -- high-speed
3G data, Wi-Fi connectivity, instant access to work or personal email accounts,
instant messaging, and quick access to news feeds, video clips and tidbits
of information from the Web on your favorite topics.
It also has familiar programs like Windows Explorer for Internet, Yahoo!,
AOL and Windows Live for instant messaging, and Yahoo! Mail, Comcast and
Earth Link for email.
Downloading and video services get help from familiar names Java and
Adobe Flash Lite, and users can view PDF documents and see and edit Microsoft
Excel, Word, OneNote and PowerPoint documents.
The Pro even includes cool, unique innovations like a business card reader
and mobile banking.
But the Pro doesn't have everything everyone needs. It is professional
looking but boxy -- too big for someone looking to carry his or her phone
in his or her jeans pocket.
The screen is large, but smudges easily, and image quality and color
comes through well on the screen, but that's more due to the quality of
the original photos.
Its camera has great photo quality, some of the best resolution options
on any phone, and myriad editing and settings adjustment tools. Video sound
-- in fact, all of the sound is crisp and has great volume -- is good but
the phone's 3.0-megapixel camcorder takes sometimes-shadowy videos with
slightly grainy color.
Many of the 30 built-in ringtones sound good but are made for the club,
not work -- a few more business-appropriate ringtones would be a nice addition.

Entertainment options are good and the selection wide-ranging, but there
aren't many entertainment download applications. Plus, for a phone that
has great memory and storage, allows song downloading and song uploading
from a computer, it's a shame the Pro only allows for Bluetooth headset
and stereo headset options for personal listening.
The Pro is not for consumers looking for entertainment but is a great
buy for those who need to take the office with them.
