Samsung SGH-E715 Review - Sound Settings


Sound Settings Menu


Ring Tone

 

Allows you to select the required ring melody.
Ring Volume

 

Adjust the ring volume to one of 5 levels.
Alert Type

· Light Only
· Melody
· Vibration
· Vibra+Melody

Specify how you want to be informed of incoming calls.

Light Only options turns on the backlight, the phone neither rings nor vibrates

Vibra+Melody option makes the phone vibrate 3 times and then starts ringing.

Keypad Tone

· Off
· Cool
· Piano
· Tone
· Beep

Select the tone that the keypad generates when you press a key.

Cool makes the same sound but is a different tone from the Beep option.

Piano plays the piano melody when keach key is pressed

Tone makes a different sound when each key is pressed.

Beep makes the same sound.

SMS Tone lets you select how the phone informs you of a new message.

SMS CB Tone informs you that a new cell broadcast (CB) message has been received.

Multi-Media Messaging Service (MMS) Tone allows you to select how the phone informs you that a MMS message has been received.

Folder Tone allows you to select a tone that sounds when you open or close the phone.
Power On / Off · Off
· Classical
· Cheerful
Power On / Off option lets you choose the sound when turning the phone on or off.
Extra Tones

· Error Tone
· Minute Minder
· Connect Tone

Error Tone sets whether the phone informs if a mistake has been made or not.

Minute Minder sets whether the phone beeps every minute during an outgoing call to keep you informed of the length of the call.

Connect Tone sets the phone to beep when the person you are calling answers the phone.

Samsung phones have always come bundled with fantastic multimedia features, and the SGH-E715 is no exception. It has the ability to play up to an amazing 40 simultaneous chords. Ring tones sound just like real music. This menu allows you to assign and change sounds for all aspects of the phone.
