Conclusion
Nicely-designed
with a thin and lightweight exterior, the M500 offers plenty of features
which allow the phone to serve as a camera, camcorder and personal music
player.
The M500 is ideal for people interested in multipurpose gadgets that
can send emails, play MP3s and make phone calls - all in one device at an
affordable price.
Good call quality was another highlight for the M500, which has a talk
time of three hours. Its calling signal is bolstered with digital dual-band
CDMA 800 and 1900 MHz and the EV-DO high-speed broadband network.
Although its sound and video quality are average compared to other high-end
multimedia phones, the M500 compensates by giving the user ample memory
for storing more media and image files with 53.0 MB internal space and an
external memory card slot.
With a plethora of Bluetooth profile options, consumers won't be left
without a way to load and offload multimedia from the M500 to a PC.
Subscription to Sprint Power Vision Network services also gives customers
access to the latest music, news headlines, select television channels and
phone wallpapers and themes.
Seamlessly integrated with Sprint's services, the M500 is a robust multimedia
handhelds offering high-end features for a reasonable fee. More expensive,
higher-end devices offer better imaging, audio, or connectivity. However
the M500 offers the better choice for consumers seeking the best of technology
and value.
