Phone Menu
From here you make your calls, receive calls, get your voice mail, put
people on hold, and have conference calls. The first picture is an image
of the picture phone book where you can have a combination of pictures or
icons representing your contacts with their corresponding names or numbers.
The next screenshot is of the dialing portion of the phone. Nothing much
to see here. It's a very nice looking version of what's in every phone.
The third shot is of your call history, displaying what time or day you
made a particular call and to whom. From this screen you have the option
of deleting an entry, saving it to your contacts list and associating it
with a picture, or redialing that person's number to catch up.
Contacts Menu
Contacts is where you can see all the people you've come into contact
with and the information you've associated with them. You can store up to
1000 contacts depending on your memory. With each contact you can add 8
phone number, e-mail, web page, and home and business addresses. You can
also include personal ring tones or pictures that appear with the person
calls. Personal voice commands are also available for voice dialing. It's
all customizable.
As shown in the second image, you can associate pictures with your contacts
to put a face to the name if you're bad at remembering, or just want a personal
touch.
Sony Ericsson smartly broke up such a vast array of options amongst the
different modes the phone can operate in while having the common functions
overlap so they are accessible from anywhere.
Calendar Menu
Calendar is just like any other calendar function on a PDA where you
can keep track of your scheduled events have a display of what your life
is like for the next day (shown in picture 2), week (shown in picture 1),
or whatever. It's much like Microsoft Outlook and will definitely help to
keep your busy life straightened out.
