Conclusion
The W300i packs a whole lot of fun into a mid-level device. With an adequate
MP3 player, video recording and playback capabilities, various pre-installed
software programs, EDGE high-speed Internet access, and Java games, this
phone should keep its users busy.

With its MP3 and video capabilities, the W300i excels in the entertainment
category. As a Walkman phone, the W300i offers a viable alternative to a
separate MP3 player, although the resulting battery drain might concern
some users. Although the VGA camera is hardly cutting-edge, video recording
is a nice additional touch not yet found on many mid-range devices. Users
may download or transfer media files of either type onto the phone, to listen
to or watch while on-the-go.
The phone also meets standard communication needs, providing standard
call options and a complete messaging system. The design makes use of dull
plastic, a light weight, a non-traditional keypad, and orange highlights
to create a handset which may not appeal to every taste, but which is certainly
unique enough that the phone stand apart from the pack.
The W300i mixes exciting entertainment options with a standard, low-priced
communications device to create an above-average mid-level phone. Fun and
light, yet practical: the W300i.
