Conclusion
All
over the world consumers are falling in love with Sony Ericsson's Walkman
phones, outsell all other music phones including Motorola's much touted
and publicized iTunes ROKR lineup.
Managing to integrate no only an unrestricted music player, but also
RDS radio, the W810i follows form as the next flagship music phone from
Sony Ericsson.
But the W810i isn't one-dimensional. Its 2.0-megapixel camera is leading
the market as well. Taking cues from Sony's digital camera department, the
W810i offers usability unmatched by any camera phone on the market, offering
an intuitive horizontal operating design similar to standalone digital cameras.
Bundling it with an abundant supply of filters, effects, and software, the
W810i is an outstanding camera phone just by itself.
Being released for Cingular, the W810i also integrates EDGE broadband
connectivity. Allowing users to browse at speeds greater than traditional
GPRS networks, customers wil be able to pair their laptop to surf the web
and check email faster than before.
It seems the W810i doesn't have any significant weaknesses (pricing from
Cingular to be determined). Offering a Memory Stick Pro Duo slot for up
to 2 GB of expandable memory, Bluetooth and infrared connectivity, top-of-the-line
imaging and audio features, and unrivaled usability, the W810i one of the
most well rounded devices ever to come to North America.
