Storage
The
total amount of memory available remains undisclosed. However, initial reports
suggest that it will have the same amount of memory (1 MB) as its predecessor,
the stylish T310.
While it is quite small compared to other models on the market today, it
is substantial enough to told all the necessary pictures, ring tones, and
games.
Connectivity
Sharing content with other telephones or PCs is easy. Users can send and
receive images using the infrared port on the left side of the phone.
It is also possible to connect the Z200 to a PC with a RS232 cable. And,
naturally, WAP is another option. The Z200 comes with WAP 1.2.1 and OTA
(Over-The-Air) settings. And lastly, it is possible to create image gallerys
and use WAP to download images into the phone.

Conclusion
The Z200 is created to compete in the cheaper younger crowd. The predecessor
of the Z200 was the T300 and T310. Unfortunately the T300 didn't appeal
to the youth. If you've ever seen it, it looks like a bar of soap. Well
Sony Ericsson soon realized this and followed Nokia's lead in creating fashion
phones.
Although the Z200 does not have many high end features that other pricier
phones possess, the it does have style. The main focus is affordability,
design, and looks. If the lack of built-in functions like a FM radio or
camera is a factor, the option to purchase accessories to attach to the
phone should not limit consumer's choices.
With its design and features, the Z200 is a unique product which also
offers an alternative to the standard clamshell phones. Sony Ericsson has
announced that the Z200 should be release in North America in Q4 2003.
