"Warner Music Group has been a pioneer in developing new digital music business models and we are pleased to have them" on board, the head of Nokia's entertainment unit Tero Ojanperae said in a statement.

The Nokia Comes With Music service, expected to be launched during the second half of 2008, will let Nokia users to download unlimited music from various artists onto their mobile devices during the first year of ownership.

After a year, customers can keep the downloaded music, Nokia said.

The Warner Music Group is the third major label to cooperate with the new Nokia program after Universal Music Group International and Sony BMG. Nokia said it is in discussions with many other international labels.

Record labels are looking to Nokia and others to challenge the dominance of Apple's iTunes as they have struggled to negotiate with the U.S. group on a level footing on issues such as pricing.

Apple iPhone 3G More Photos - View Specs

AT&T today announced the iPhone 3G pricing and voice and data plans, on sale at retail stores at 8 a.m. local time on Friday, July 11.

The iPhone 3G will be available for $199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB model. These prices require two-year contracts and are available to the following customers:

- iPhone customers who purchased before July 11
- Customers activating a new line with AT&T
- Current AT&T customers who are eligible, at the time of purchase, for an upgrade discount

Existing AT&T customers who are not currently eligible for an upgrade discount can purchase iPhone 3G for $399 for the 8GB model or $499 for the 16GB model. Both options require a new two-year service agreement. In the future, AT&T will offer a no-contract-required option for $599 (8GB) or $699 (16GB).

Current customers may also choose to wait until they become eligible for an upgrade discount. Eligibility is generally determined by amount of time remaining on a current contract and payment history.

Current AT&T customers who are upgrading to iPhone 3G will pay an $18 upgrade fee and new AT&T customers will pay the standard $36 activation fee.

iPhone 3G customers can choose from four individual AT&T Nation plans, which bundle voice and unlimited data (email and Web browsing).

- AT&T Nation 1350: Includes 1350 Anytime Minutes and unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes for $109.99 a month
-AT&T Nation 900: Includes 900 Anytime Minutes and unlimited Night & Weekend Minutes for $89.99 a month
-AT&T Nation 450: Includes 450 Anytime Minutes and 5,000 Night & Weekend Minutes for $69.99 a month

AT&T will offer FamilyTalk plans, with bundled voice and unlimited data, starting at $129.99 a month for two iPhone 3G lines. Up to three additional iPhone lines can be added for $39.99 each.

Unlimited text messaging can be added for an additional $20 ($30 for FamilyTalk plans of up to five lines); $15 (1,500 messages), or $5 (200 messages).

Corporate email and other business applications require the Enterprise Data Plan for the iPhone, which is $45 a month and bundled with an eligible voice plan. Small business users may qualify for AT&T BusinessTalk, a shared plan specifically for small businesses.

Customers can prepare for their iPhone 3G purchase by posting "Get iReady" tips and frequently asked questions at www.att.com/iphone . The site also will include a link for customers to check their upgrade eligibility and other wireless account information.

Verizon Wireless today introduced Rhapsody's subscription music service, allowing its customers to download as much music as they want to their phones for $15 per month.

Rhapsody is following in the tracks of Napster, Apple's iTunes and Amazon.com, all of which have introduced MP3 downloads and moved away from digital rights management, or DRM, which prevents copying and piracy, but also makes it difficult to legally move music between devices.

Rhapsody also provides 30-second music samples that can be played on several websites, through "music discovery service" iLike. Clips will be expanded to full tracks, and users can listen to up to 25 of them per month without a subscription.

Previously, customers who bought and downloaded an individual song on a Verizon VCAST handset received another copy of the song for the PC. Now, that copy will be an unprotected MP3. The copy that arrives wirelessly on the phone will still be in a protected format.

"Rhapsody fulfills Verizon's promise to deliver the best mobile experience to our customers, said John Harrobin, Verizon Wireless' senior vice president of digital media. "Now, music fans can not only get the benefit of immediate access to music over-the-air, but also they can connect their mobile music and devices."

Songs downloaded through the new $15 unlimited service on Verizon phones will still come with DRM. The process requires users to connect their phones to a Windows PC running Rhapsody's software. There is no Macintosh version.

Rhapsody will work with the LG Chocolate 3 (available in July), LG Decoy and LG Dare; Motorola W755; Samsung U550, Samsung Glyde and Samsung Juke.

Music and videos can be played and saved with a microSD memory card slot. The 7210 Supernova offers an integrated 2.0-megapixel camera and access to Flickr for one-click photo sharing.

T-Mobile plans to launch the Motorola ROKR E8, a music phone with new ModeShift technology, beginning July 7. Offering a modern style, the handset features a high-gloss front, aluminum soft touch back, spun metal side keys and engraved banding.

Its smooth surface has no visible keys when powered off. Powered on and the device presents a virtual numbered keypad on the front surface. It only presents users with only the controls they need. Using ModeShift technology, it transforms from music player to phone with the touch of a button. The phone keypad disappears and control keys for the music player - play, pause, fast forward and rewind - appear in its place.

Using vibrating haptics technology, the ROKR E8 has the tactile feedback of a traditional keypad.

The ROKR E8 also debuts the FastScroll navigation wheel, a variable-speed touch control. With a slide of the thumb, the wheel scrolls through music, contacts, calendar or multimedia content. Information is easily viewed on the landscape 2.0-inch QVGA display.

In Music Mode, the ROKR E8 delivers sound through a three-dimensional stereo feature that enhances two-channel audio and an on-board equalizer. Music can listened on the built-in speaker, with a compatible Bluetooth stereo headset, or through a wired headset plugged into the 3.5mm jack.

The ROKR E8 also has a built-in FM radio and support for Song ID. The 2GB internal memory can store up to 1,500 songs, and the external memory is expandable up to 4GB with an optional microSD card. Music transfers quickly with USB 2.0. The device is compatible with Windows Media Player 11 on the PC.

In Phone Mode, the ROKR E8 provides improved voice quality using CrystalTalk technology. It can receive calls while downloading or playing music, text messaging, surfing the Web or taking pictures.

The Motorola ROKR E8 will be available beginning July 7 at select T-Mobile retail stores and online.

Nokia will then establish a foundation with Sony Ericsson, Motorola and Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo to make the software available royalty-free. Symbian previously licensed its software for royalties. They will combine their three different versions of the Symbian software for advanced, data-enabled phones into one open platform.

AT&T, LG, Samsung, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and Vodafone will also join the foundation.

Nokia said it expects the acquisition to be completed during the fourth quarter of 2008 and is subject to regulatory approval.

Nokia today announced the U.S. availability of its N78, the newest Nokia Nseries device that combines integrated A-GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and high-speed HSDPA connectivity.

The N78 offers new Nokia services such as Nokia Maps and Share on Ovi. Nokia Maps to calculate routing information, provide details on up to 15 million different points of interest, and give audible and visual turn-by-turn directions. Integrated A-GPS lets users 'geotag' images with location information such as when and where the picture was taken.

The N78 combines a digital music player and an integrated FM transmitter. With storage for up to 8GB of music on an optional microSD memory card, a music collection can be shared in the home or car by playing it wirelessly through the FM radio.

Allowing access to weather, sports and news, the N78 provides widget support by Web Runtime technology. Widgets are available through the Download! client on the Nokia N78 or through the MOSH mobile content distribution platform at http://mosh.nokia.com .

The Nokia 6301 is a sleek, stainless steel bar phone that comes with a stand-up charger so customers can conveniently dock their phone, similar to the design of a home cordless phone. The 6301 also offers a 2.0-megapixel camera with video capture, stereo Bluetooth and a music player.

With a red finish and a thin flip form factor, the Samsung T339 provides a balance of style and technology. The Wi-Fi-enabled phone is equipped with stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera with video capture, a music player and instant messaging capabilities.

Motorola and Kodak today announced its ZINE ZN5, a 5.0-megapixel camera phone with ModeShift Technology which re-aligns buttons based on the application and Kodak Imaging Technology for bright images.

The ZINE ZN5 has one of the fastest click-to-click times. An ultra-fast 5.0-megapixel camera offers auto-focus, a Xenon flash, 4GB of optional external memory and optimized settings for low-light environments.

Kodak Imaging Technology is combined with Kodak Perfect Touch Technology for brighter and more vivid images. Multiple capture modes, like multi-shot and panorama, automatically stitch together continuous shots.

With one touch, photos can be viewed right from the home screen. Pictures can be uploaded via Gallery Link and shared to the Kodak Gallery. Sprint today announced the Samsung Instinct will launch on June 20 for $129.99 with a two-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate.

The touch screen features tactile feedback, called haptics, which transform the virtual QWERTY keypad and other screen interactions into a sensory experience. It also has a Speech to Action button for calling, texting, picture messaging, traffic, movie, sports, news, weather and search.

With EV-DO Rev A, the Instinct quickly browses the Web, accesses business or personal email, shares pictures, listens to commercial-free radio and more at broadband speeds. It also has GPS applications such as Sprint Navigation, with GPS-enabled audio and visual turn-by-turn driving directions and one-click traffic rerouting. Sony Ericsson C905a More Photos - View Specs

Sony Ericsson announced its C905a, an 8.1-megapixel camera with real flash for photo quality that looks like a digital camera took them.

The C905a provides a complete digital camera experience on a phone. The built-in 8.1-megapixel camera with Xenon flash features face detection auto-focus, smart contrast and image stabilizer. GPS allows users to geo-tag photos. Photos are stored on the included 2GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card. A USB adaptor provided in-box allows for easy transfer of photos to-and-from a PC.

Viewers can show their photos on the 2.4-inch scratch-resistant mineral glass display.

"The C905a Cyber-Shot has been developed to make us all better photographers. That means making it easier to take great shots and never missing that magic moment." said Sven Totte, Head of Imaging Marketing at Sony Ericsson. "The 8.1-megapixel C905a is a viable alternative to a digital camera."

The Sony Ericsson C905a will be available in three colours (Night Black, Ice Silver and Copper Gold) in selected markets from Q4 2008.

Sony Ericsson today introduced its K330a, a clear-cut camera phone with video capture and Bluetooth sharing. It also offers FM radio listening via speakerphone or stereo headset.

The K330a allows users to capture video and photos with a built-in VGA camera, plus share them easily via Bluetooth with another phone or Bluetooth enabled device. With storage for up to 250 photos or 12 minutes of video footage, the K330a makes an ideal pocket photo album.

Keep track of calories and make daily health plans with Health Mate. Torch function guides the way home with the luminous screen and finds objects in the dark.

"There are certain phone features, such as a large phonebook and torch functionality, that are considered key to consumers in developing markets," said James Marshall, Head of Portfolio Marketing at Sony Ericsson. "These phones pack all of the essential features and appeal to anyone wanting a durable, no-nonsense mobile."

The Sony Ericsson K330a will be available in Gold on Black and Green on Black in selected markets from Q3 2008.

Sony Ericsson unveiled its J132a, a talk and text phone with FM radio and stereo hands free kit.

Everything about the J132a is uncomplicated. It has a solid feel and dust-resistant keypad, ideal for the everyday wear and tear. Its clear and bright screen, one-click shortcuts and easy-to-use navigation key lets users text, search for a number or access the FM radio without fuss. A torch function aids users find objects in the dark.

Sony Ericsson today announced its F305i gaming phone, with advanced motion sensor technology to control games with the flick of a wrist or the swing of an arm. It also integrates stereo speakers, a 2.0-inch screen, 2.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth wireless technology and expandable memory via Memory Stick Micro (M2).

"Gaming is no longer something you do on your own. It's about having fun with your friends and interacting with the game" says Sven Totte, Head of Product Marketing at Sony Ericsson. "We have used motion sensor technology before in our phones and integrating it into gameplay is a natural progression."

Preloaded with Bowling, Bass fishing and Jockey, users imitate bowling or casting a fishing line. The F305i offers up to 8 hours of gameplay.

The Sony Ericsson F305i with Motion Gaming will be available in Polar White and Mystic Black in selected markets from Q3 2008.

Nokia today unveiled its E71 and E66 email-focused business devices, two new phone models aimed at corporate clients. The new Nokia phones do not include Research in Motion's (RIM) BlackBerry service, supported on all of Nokia's previous corporate handsets.

The Nokia E71 has a full QWERTY keyboard and the E66 mobilizes personal or professional messaging needs, including Microsoft Exchange.

The E71 comes with a stainless steel case and etched graphics, available in grey steel or white steel colors. The metallic finish is complemented by the colour display. Designed for one- or two-handed use, the Nokia E71's narrow shape and specially designed keypad pays special attention to ergonomics.

The E66 offers a sophisticated look with its stainless steel accents and sliding design. Sharing the same key features as the E71, including an enhanced calendar, contacts and customizable home screen modes, the E66 offers an orientation sensor that automatically optimizes itself for full screen viewing or silences the ringer when the device is turned over. The E66 is available in grey steel or white steel version.

"The Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 were designed for people who lead a mobile lifestyle and want quick and easy access to their personal and work email," said Soren Petersen, Senior Vice President, Devices, Nokia. "With both of these devices, we have responded to consumer feedback by making calendar and contacts available at the touch of a button."

Both the E71 and E66 come with professional and personal email. Microsoft Exchange users can access their email using the pre-loaded Mail for Exchange mobile email client. Consumers get real-time access to their email, calendar, contacts and tasks, as well as download attachments like Word, Excel, Powerpoint or PDF files.

The E71 and E66 support email accounts from more than a thousand internet service providers (ISPs), as well as Gmail, Yahoo! mail and Hotmail. They support Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email as well as third party email solutions like System Seven and Visto Mobile. Both devices come with the new switch mode that let people switch between personal and work home screens.

The phones support the latest Ovi services including maps, music and media sharing. This includes fast browsing with HSDPA, wireless LAN and 3G connectivity, Assisted GPS (A-GPS) and Nokia Maps for navigation, a music player with support for up to 8GB expandable memory and a 3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera.

The E71 and E66 come with built-in encryption for the device memory and the memory card. Both include integrated mobile VPN support for access to the company intranet, and device lock and wipe to protect corporate information. IT departments can manage security settings, corporate applications, data and advanced voice features.

The Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 are expected to begin shipping in key markets in July. Both are expected to retail at EUR 350 ($540 USD).

Verizon Wireless today announced the Nokia 6205 (The Dark Knight Edition) will be available online June 15.

Clad in a mysterious black color and embellished with a subtle "The Dark Knight" emblem, the Batman movie-themed clamshell comes pre-loaded with wallpapers, voice tones, animated screensavers inspired by the film, and a full movie trailer.

Touch-sensitive external music keys access tracks purchased from Verizon Wireless' VCAST Music service, while the 2.0-inch display supports up to 262K-colors.

The handset features images from Gotham City. Customers will also find a Joker playing card with a code and a link to the www.fightforgothamcity.com website. Once on the site, Consumers can find out if they have won The Joker's "bag of cash" containing $10,000, play games to win more The Dark Knight-themed prizes, and download movie content from VCAST.

The Nokia 6205 (The Dark Knight Edition) will be available online for $69.99 after a $50 online instant rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
