Xenon Like it!
Reviewer: freegrace on Sat May 23, 2009
I just love the Xenon. Even as a Phone, which is what I use it mostly for. Don't do alot of texting but the hidden slideout keyboard is easy to use. Matter fact everything on this phone is easy to use. No big learning curve. (Except you need a magnifying glass to try and read the instruction book. tip - download it and read it on your computer. )
The screen is good, hard to see outside, but most are. Battery life could be better, but I can keep mine plugged in often, so it hasn't been problem yet. Camera takes good pics. Speakerphone is good although people say I sound like I'm in a tunnel. but its loud enough on my end.
The only thing I'm not happy with (because its one of the reasons I bought this phone) was it's suppose to be able to Sync to my PC as a modem (tether), and so far haven't been able to. No one has software and/or driver for the USB. AT&T sends you to LG, LG sends you to DataPilot, DataPilot doesn't make it yet for this phone.
I don't have the microSD card so haven't tried the music syncing yet.

Tethering LG Xenon
Reviewer: TodoInTX on Tue May 26, 2009
My wife and I got LG Xenon phones this week, we are very happy with them, The only problem is the sensitivity of the touch screen, and relatively small size of the items I must click on. I would prefer that this phone come with a stylus. Under Linux/Ubuntut 9.04 I was able to get this phone working tethered very easily.
Simply click the " <> " icon, click the gear (Settings) tab, click 'more', click "Connection", click "USB Connection", Select "Data Service". Then connect the USB data cable. Then (linux specific) Right click Network Manager Applet, Click "Edit Connections.", Select "Mobile Broadband" tab. Click "Add", Select either "AT&T", or "AT&T (Tethering with data acceleration)" dialing plans. "AT&T (Tethering)" requires a password to the phone, which I do not immediately know.

LG xenon
Reviewer: ute on Sat Sep 26, 2009
I am not happy with this phone. It's difficult to get the touch screen to respond. even after setting the sensitivity. For instance, when a text is sent it's incredibly difficult to open it. whether it's in landscape mode or if keyboard is closed. When going to rolodex choosing someone to call is a pain. the screen will move cuz i was trying to choose a number. so by the time it actually works and recognizes that i want that certain number i'm usually a bit flustered. which is quite often. The phone scrolls nicely. better than other phones that are out there. the keyboard is very comfortable and easy to use. nice sized keys. The phone wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to try multiple times to get the touch screen to respond. I have a friend that has a xenon as well. and she has the same problem with her touch screen. All in all it's a 6/10 on the scale. I really liked the samsung impression. but didn't get it cuz it cost more at the time i got the xenon.
