Nice looking phone that is dependable.

I got this phone as a replacement for my LG Chocolate, which unfortunately ended up with the white screen of death. This is also my first Motorola phone.

Pros:

-The texture of the phone is cool
-How light the phone is
-The key pad is a good size (so great after the tiny Chocolate buttons)
-The ringtones aren't that bad (I'm over buying ringtones, because I kept having to replace the Chocolate and it was annoying having to re-purchase the ringtones)
-I like that I can take a picture with the phone closed
-I had to get used to the iTap program, but not bad
- Speakerphone is good and loud
- Ringer volume is great

Cons:
-I think the 1 button sticks a little, but that is clearly just a quirk of my phone, and I think most phones have one little mechanical thing wrong with them
-The battery life is supposed to be amazing, but so far it's just okay. I took EvDo off, which improved battery life
- The phone gets smudged really easily, but I feel like that is a Motorola thing (my dad's Razr is always smudged)
- Sometimes I feel like I have a little trouble hearing people on a call, but everyone tells me I sound clear (so maybe it's their phones)

So far, it works!

We recently renewed our contract with verizon. I had a samsung, while my better half an lg. My samsung while support basic stuff today such as bluetooth, and Had a camera, it was by todays standards basic at best, never the less my sansung still worked reasonably well, however my girl's LG. thats a diffferent story. While her LG could be used for all the good stuff like a music play, on the downside Ihad far to many complaints with that product, so on with our upgrade. I had went to best guy, they hooked us up for no charge These Moto w755. At first I admit, I wanted to go with samsung all the way. (i've owned 2 really good phones) but the moto cought my eye as we where looking. It has great feature set, matter of a fact, recently it has replaced my pocket pc as a music player. It's very sturdy design, It has bluetooth built in, and can connect headsets to it. We where sold. The sales man hooked us right. He told me I could buy another phone, it was up to me, but strongly recomended the w755 for the features/value While I am sure someone is bound to find things they dont like about this phone, admit, I am pretty happy. I do have one off complaint. While most phones have an ear jack somewhere it wont be ripped off the phone the w755 put it in an odd place, and the headphones from my samsung work, but I am scared the jack will break. This isnt any real fault, rather then the idea they created these phones to support bluetooth, They didnt figure it being used with wired head phones! Where happy though, pretty good product.
