The Pearl takes a curve.

Reviewer: BBcellular on Tue Oct 23, 2007

The Blackberry Curve is the lastest RIM device to hit t-mobile. Even though around this time of the year; consumers are being entertained by the Razr2, Sidekick LX and the other multi-colored pearls, this phone has what it takes to beat the competition. Before I go any further the Curve does not record VIDEO! anyway, As you well know. Many are comparing that the curve is the next pearl or may I say Pearl 2. Yes it's true. Since the pearl was the first BlackBerry phone to hit the market with a Camera/ MP3 player. The Curve would be the 2nd. We could presume it's the successor of the Pearl (Which it is. let me show you).

1. THe Curve sports the same trackball we've seen on the pearl.

2. Improved Camera (2nd blackberry next gen with camera) *2mp, but the picture quality sure seems like a 3!

3. instead of having 2 letters per key. THe curve sports a Qwerty Keyboard that makes it easy to type with one thumb with such ease.

4. the Mp3, matter of fact the all Multimedia has been revamped over the Pearl. The curve haves Roxio media software that gives it a more manageable better feel to it.

Whats new !

1. The Curve has a special screen technology that adjust the lighting whenever you enter a dark room or Bright room.

2. The Curve has a audio technology that reads whenever you walk into a noisy room or street, Thus the call volume would increase when it gets loud. once it gets quiet the curve would adjust the volume back to normal.

3. It has video playback capabilities. Even tho I tried but couldnt get it working. I'm sure one day I would be able to find my way through.

-CONs
With great power comes a sacrafise, and that sacrafise is battery life. I'm not saying it's worst than the sidekicks. Im just saying by the end of the day you should see your battery percentage round 30% n thats using mp3, a little camera n the maps. The solution to this problem is to buy a back up battery n maintain a good charging schedule.

I personally love this phone. my last phone was a sidekick ID. I decided to make a big jump for all these features the blackberry possess. The internet is FAST ( 5 SECONDS). Has it's own mapquest which is very conveinant. the phone is great, I recommend it for all tmobile users. Corporate or young consumers. icon_smile.gif
