An LCD is featured on each side of the device. One side offers a smaller screen and dialing keypad for making phone calls, contact entry and cell phone menu functions. The reverse side has a large LCD and a dedicated touch sensitive pad, serving as the music player for MP3 and WMA files and multimedia menu functions. The UpStage is equipped with a digital power amp, which offers a dedicated music user interface that makes it easy to navigate through song lists. Additionally, it has Quick PC Sync, allowing users to create a music library and customized play lists. In addition to dedicated music features, the UpStage includes a 1.3-megapixel camera, extended battery life and Bluetooth technology.

  • Advanced Stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with Bluetooth caller ID enables the user to identify callers with a spoken voice while they listen to music

overall a pretty good phone

Reviewer: ilyhak52 on Sun Aug 19, 2007

I have this phone for about 3 months now and i love it, icon_wub.gif it has good features like multitasking (texting while listening to music, playing games while listening to music ect.) and has a nice menu system, with exceptional battery life, the only complaint icon_mad.gif i have about this phone is that the screen on the side with the numbers is WAY TO SMALL! it makes texting difficult because you cant even fit one sentence worth of words on the screen at a time, and it make things like looking at your call list take twice as long because of a small screen, in my opinion the size of the buttons should be cut down to make a bigger screen, but overall, i'm satisfied with this phone!

UpStage a let down

Reviewer: jadom09 on Mon Apr 30, 2007

i was excited when the upstage finally came out icon_biggrin.gif but i had to wait a month to get it icon_cry.gif so i did some research. it sounded ok and when i got it i was so excited that i actually had it. icon_biggrin.gif now i can't stand it and i haven't even had it a week. icon_twisted.gif literaly. after 2 days the mp3 player wouldn't start up icon_confused.gif: so i decided to reset the phone. not a good idea. icon_squint.gif with this phone when you reset it it resets EVERYTHING, contacts ringtones pics and everything else you had except the music. i tried the player again and it still didn't work. icon_devil.gif i had to delete everything and put it back on and then it worked. icon_wacko.gif after 5 days it wont connect to the internet icon_confused.gif and now i have to see what is wrong with it. I'm so going to exchange this phone as soon as possible icon_biggrin.gif because it just sucks. icon_mad.gif the batt doesn't even last half as long as it takes to charge the damn thing. it takes over 5 hours to charge and if you use it to make a 10 min call it already lost 2 of the 3 bars of batt it has. icon_mad.gif you then have to plug in the extra batt which adds on an extra 2-3 hours of charging to the charging time. the only time i can actually charge this phone is over night and if i dont im screwed. my old phone might not have been the best phone and might have been falling apart but it lasted longer battery wise and didn't take but 30 min to charge fully after a dead batt.
