I've owned the W810i and K850i before and the C905a blows them all away. The feel of the phone is nice and the camera is VERY simple to use. The real digital camera has so many options it's unbelievable. It's not hard to get used to it, but takes some time to play around with.
Also it has great video too. It can shoot video up to 2 hours in high-quality. You can also post them on YouTube straight from the phone. Definitely suited for those who have kids or and active lifestyle.
I also use the email, MP3 player and FM radio a lot.
The Pros
- Sliding form to allow for larger screen
- Fantastic camera
- Great video recording
- MP3 player
- FM radio
- Email
- Watch full movies
- Nice Web browser
The Cons
- No QWERTY keypad
- Short battery life
- Only takes Sony M2 memory cards

I bought the C905a because it's AT&T's only camera phone over 3MP. Sony has outdone itself. Its 8MP as good as it gets. The auto-focus is nice but it takes a few seconds to adjust. The camera has a lot of options like face detection, a very powerful flash, and you can adjust pictures with PhotoDJ software to fix contrast settings or add fun captions.
You can record movies at 320 x 240 px and 30fps, but they look kind of washed out. VideoDJ editing software on the phone also lets you cut and paste scenes together.
The iPhone is just $20 more than the C905a. At around the same price range, the iPhone has more features. It doesn't really make sense to buy it over the iPhone unless you need a powerful camera -- in which case the C905a beats the iPhone hands down.
